The Bionova Cell at Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) serves as an advanced innovation and entrepreneurship incubator within the Department of Life Sciences. It is dedicated to bridging rigorous scientific research with viable biotechnological solutions for society and agriculture. The cell equips student researchers with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, faculty mentorship, and industrial training to develop patentable green technologies. Through this nurturing ecosystem, Terrazoe was incubated and empowered to transform lab-scale vermicompost encapsulation into an award-winning, validated agricultural innovation.
Terrazoe began as a vision to simplify organic farming. Our breakthrough came during the Ideathon, a prestigious pre-event for the International Trade Fair under Bionova .
Recognized for its potential to revolutionize sustainable agriculture, the project was awarded top honors by the Agricultural Minister of Karnataka.
